So I decided to pick back up work on an audio detection script I have been working on. It is able to extract chords from music and determine various notes being played. I gave it some new filtering ability by way of backward difference and bilateral difference techniques for taking Laplace Domain transfer functions and discretizing them.
Here are the new filters when set to a 1KHz break frequency:
